    Ford Parts Warranty

    Each part is designed specifically to fit the particular Ford or Lincoln model. No generic parts that have to be altered are used when you have your vehicle serviced at a dealership. The best part of using Ford and Lincoln parts is that these parts have a warranty to back them up. This warranty covers a period of two years, regardless of how much you travel. It even includes labour.

    Warranty Details

    Any part put on your Ford or Lincoln vehicle is included in this warranty. This means replacing brake pads, installing a new exhaust or any other repair job you can think of is covered. It even includes accessories installed at a dealer. Many people have hesitated in the past about customizing their vehicles. Now you won't have to worry about being covered if something goes wrong.

    These accessories must be Ford branded and purchased at the dealer during the warranty period on the new vehicle. They must be installed by a Ford technician to receive the 2-year warranty. If the new vehicle warranty is longer than two years, the parts will be covered for the duration. Meanwhile, the warranty for accessories is provided by the manufacturer of the products.

    If you have an extended service plan for your vehicle the parts are covered under that plan as well. The Ford parts warranty has changed from one year or 20,000 kilometres to two years with unlimited mileage.

    Ford Racing Parts

    Ford Racing and mountune® power packs, handling packs and other select parts are under warranty for the materials and installation when performed at a dealer. They are designed for the Ford Mustang, Ford Fiesta, Ford Focus and the Ford F-150. The warranty begins at date of installation and lasts for 36 months or 60,000 km, whichever one comes first.

    This means that you can install a supercharger for the Ford Mustang or even change the computer program and not void your warranty. The Ford Racing Supercharger carries a one-year or 20,000 kilometre warranty when it is installed before the vehicle has reached 24 months or 40,000 kilometres. The TracKey/Track Cal for the Ford Mustang is warranted for the balance of three years or 60,000 kilometres. You can also upgrade your vehicle's performance with a crate engine that carries a warranty for 24 months or 40,000 kilometres.

    Ford Warranty Parts Exclusions

    The Ford and Lincoln parts warranty is only valid for the person that purchased the parts. If you decide to sell the vehicle before the warranty ends, it is not transferrable to the next owner. Coverage is for defective parts and doesn't apply to wear and tear.
